About Ewan Campbell

Thanks for stopping by.  I’m Ewan Campbell, and I have a single goal:

To make your farm better than before you met me.

Whilst growing up and farming on the peat land we were continually
challenging the boundaries of what was possible. There was no rule book
because very few had taken a peat swamp covered in scrub and turned it into a productive beef and sheep farm and then converted that to a dairy farm.

When I started farming on my own account my efforts to find people who could explain what, why and how things work on the farm and its soils usually left me with just a blank look. I was not deterred and my continued investigations were not in vain because they led me to be trained in soil agronomy, animal nutrition and environmental management with Brookside Laboratories. This unique opportunity gave me the ability to test, measure and give meaning to what we observed on the farm. When this knowledge was combined with the study of research papers and books from agricultural experts in biology, chemistry and physics a picture developed of how soils function in a productive manner. I
want to pass my knowledge and experiences on.

A productive high performing farming enterprise is built on a foundation of unlocking the full potential of the soil.  I’d like to help you get more performance out of your soil.

We have Dairy Clients that have transitioned from conventional to organic systems in three years, taking them from costs of $3.50/kg of milk solids to $2.30/kg while increasing the net margin per hectare from $1000/ha to $4,500/ha.

I work with a limited number of farms every month.  I will show you systems that could cut your fertiliser bill by up to 50% per annum, alleviate major compliance issues, and improve animal health.  This is all achieved without harming production while increasing the bottom line.

We’ll talk for 45 minutes and I’ll map out an exact action plan for you to follow so that you can hit your production goals. This call will probably be the most valuable 45 mins you spend working on your farm this year…

About Steve Clark

Thanks for stopping by.  I’m Steve Clark, I’m Taihape born and bred.  We raised a family and farmed the hill country there for 20 odd years. That, amongst other things taught me my place in nature!!

I contacted Ewan early in my farming career after noting that his farming processes were different to the “conventional” processes and that he had some of the answers to the questions I had accumulated during my farming trials and errors.

I have worked with Ewan ever since and I have enjoyed being a part of the learning process that has answered a lot more of the questions and continues to raise more.
